Hello everyone,

So recently i bought Acer Aspire E 15 (i know, not the best pick, but hey i got it for a good price), i am a big video game fan and i have a problem...

Specs in short:
AMD A10 - 7th gen cpu
AMD R5 & AMD R8 M445DX - 512 mb & 2048 mb GPU
16 GB of DDR4 memory
Windows 10 64-bit

Problem:
While testing out the notebook i installed a few games, and i noticed i got a very bad FPS like really bad, especially for memory of my GPU, Working memory and my CPU.
So i did some web browsing and i got to a conclusion that my second GPU doesn't "kick-in" while playing games. R5 is my primary GPU and my second one (R8) should start when the first one is overwhelmed (which is odd to me because second GPU has 2 gigs of memory which is supposed to be good) , but that is not the case. I didn't have time to put new windows on and i am saving that for my last chance to fix this problem. Is there any way to manually turn on the second GPU or make it a primary or something, pleaseee can someone help???

P.S.
Please don't redirect me to another thread because i am searching for 2 days and read every thread on almost every forum regarding my problem.
And sorry for bad english if any.

Solution
BF1: on low settings at 1280x720 resolution you'd get around 30fps.
GTAV: on lowest settings at a 1024x768 resolution you'd get around 55fps
BF4: on lowest settings at a 1024x768 resolution you'd get around 45fps
CSGO: on lowest settings at a 1024x768 resolution you'd get around 82fps

Arma pretty much no way you'll be able to run that well I think, it's because ARMA is an extremely poorly made game.
That link shows that this is a dual graphics solution. They both work together at the same time while running games, so game performance will be dependent on how well the game can take advantage of this.

"i know, not the best pick, but hey i got it for a good price"

Then you know you did not buy a gaming computer. Keep your expectations reasonable. Experiment to see what kinds of games run well on this computer and play those. This is not a computer you can run just anything on and expect to get good performance.

i know its no good, but i travel a lot and i am never home on my desktop pc which is build for gaming, but the fact i havent been home in 6 months is just sad and im trying to play games when i catch some free time, i still didnt install my fav games but i hope it will run at least on low with a nice 40-60 fps, if not well ... i guess im gonna sell it and lose some money :/
The games:
GTA V
ArmA 3 - most interested in, so i am hoping for the best
Battlefield 4
Battlefield 1
CS:GO

If everything else fails, i am looking forward to some nostalgia games from my childhood :p
Go, Go Diablo 1 and weed and red bull <3
