So I'm using an Alienware 15 with a GTX980 (Optimus) and I've connected an external monitor into the HDMI port to attempt to extend. While it works for desktop based things, since my intergrated monitor is seen and "claimed" by the Intel gpu, the nvidia does not see it. The Nvidia however has "claimed" the external monitor so the intel cannot see it. So, I cannot set a surround monitor set up since each GPU only has 1 monitor.
The question is how do I get the Nvidia to see the integrated monitor and the external so to set up the surround view?
