Today I decided to finally overclock my Gigabyte gtx 770, and all was going swell, getting 58fps on heaven ultra 1080p, with it sitting at 1333mhz core and 3855mhz memory (7710mhz effective), when I put my memory clock up a tad and it began to throttle severely, way down to like 810mhz memory and 1ghz core. I was worried I'd blown something but then my temps were always below 70c. I'm worried it's my PSU telling me it's struggling, could this be possible? It's a 620w 80plus bronze Antec Neo Eco 620c. Have I got enough watts? Should I be worried I'm pulling too much for it to handle?
For what it's worth, I have an i5 2400 and a single hard drive hooked up to the PSU in addition to my 770
I rebooted my PC and it went through a run in heaven at stock fine, and went though another run on my current overclock settings with some stuttering. No throttling just yet!
