Low fps in games while recording: i7 7700K

Well I recently got my new gaming PC, which is equipped with an i7 7700k, 16GB DDR4 3200 BUS RAM and a GTX 1080.
The problem is that while recording AAA games like GTA V, witcher 3 etc. with bandicam(in the highest quality and frames), I get massive fps drops although my CPU usage stays like only 30-40%.
I am new at this things, which is why I am much confused about this situation. Why am I facing this problem, while the usage is not even close to 100%
Note: I play games in 1080p.

in your bandicam settings, use you GPU and not your CPU..........1080 GPU will kill 4K video, and you at 1080

Take advantage of the video card hardware accelerator. Not the CPU.

edit: do a custom setting of 1920 X 1080 for example. You have set only...

I had a paid Bandicam. Switched to Geforce experience about one year ago.

FPS loss in bandicam was about 10-15%, no loss of frames with Geforce

What is your settings for 1080 resolution with bandicam? Try Geforces, since you have a 1080 GPU. Come free with your nvidia video card drivers

What do you call "Massive"? :)

And by 'massive' I mean, while recording GTA V, my fps drops from 80 to 50.

edit: do a custom setting of 1920 X 1080 for example. You have set only "FULL SIZE"
