I just bought and installed a new xfx radeon rx480 4g card into my system:
Radeon Software Version - 17.4.2
Radeon Software Edition - Crimson ReLive
Graphics Chipset - Radeon (TM) RX 480 Graphics
Memory Size - 4096 MB
Memory Type - GDDR5
Core Clock - 1266 MHz
Windows Version - Windows 10 (64 bit)
System Memory - 8 GB
CPU Type - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
and after 2 hours of gaming it started showing weird artifacts when im on the web(some small black squares) and in games colours are going crazy in every game. Its temperature is normal in game ( max 75C) and i can still open and play any game but with those colours going crazy its imposible. Oh and im using a 600w power supplay.

Solution
Then, It is surely an hardware error. BBUUTT,,
Relax..Calm Down... Amazon DOES have a fairly decent return policy!
I also returned my GTX 1060 after getting a faulty one and all you have to do is go to Amazon >> My Orders >> Click on RETURN OR REPLACE ITEMS, And go ahead and return it.

But also, before doing this, try to contact the seller from which you bought it from. Tell him It is a faulty product unless he is a VVEERRYY bad seller, he will guide you through the return process. And, do not contact him via mail, just call him up!

Anyways, Best of luck and sad to hear about it :(

I think it may be an issue with the VRAM modules on the card. The artifacts, even with decent temps, can be a sign of faulty VRAM. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to fix it yourself. I recommend RMA-ing it and purchasing a new one... Sorry to hear about the artifacts on a new card! Sucks to have to return it and get a new one...

Where did you buy it from?
And, a secondary question, what drivers did you install? Did you download them or did you installed them from the disc because although it could be the Video Memory's fault ; It may be just the drivers with the card. :)

Thank YOU, I live in India, and assuming that UK should be much better, I think it should take about 4-5 days. For me personally, They took it on the 3rd day of calling the replacement and delivered it on the 3rd day of taking it :) so it took total 6 days. Dont worry! Your card will be arriving just in time. Go out there and play! (I like Football (Or Soccer) by the way ) :)
