I need a UPS for my pc that should give me around 30 mins of battery backup during a power cut. I usually am doing some rendering or a simulation which cant be paused so the battery backup should be good even during 100% cpu usage. These are my pc specs-
i7 4790k
gtx 980
Asus maximus vii hero
Corsair RM750 PSU
CM hyper 212x cooler
hyper x 16gb ram
Dell S2240L 21inch monitor which will also be connected to the UPS
Also does a UPS make noise during normal usage? Is it quiet or does it make noise only when there is a power outage?

Solution
How much power does your system draw while rendering? It certainly doesn't draw 750W, but does it draw 300W or more? Do you need the monitor to be on while rendering, particularly when there's a power outage?

The suggested UPS with brand new batteries is expected to provide 22 minutes of run time at 300 Watts and 91 minutes at 100 Watts; therefore you could presume that it meets your requirements as long as your system doesn't draw more than 250 Watts from the outlet during rendering. Start by measuring how much that system draws while rendering and that will dictate the required UPS for 30 minutes of run time. Also bear in mind that batteries wear out, therefore it has to be be good enough for at least 35-40 minutes when brand new...

Is there any other UPS hat you might recommend? This one costs 370$ in India. Stupid pricing. While on Newegg its just 130$ and that product cant be shipped in india

Where will you buy in India? To meet your requirements you have to buy a powerful UPS. The suggested UPS won't provide 30 minutes of power if rendering relies on the CPU and the GTX 980; the total power draw could be over 300W if the monitor is powered on (that UPS is rated for 22 minutes at 300W).

To answer your question about noise, a good UPS makes very little noise until a power outage occurs or the utility voltage is out of range (too low or too high).
