Hello everyone,
Before posting i have checked all related posts and no solution is working for me. I seek your help!
I have bought a new OEM system from Gateway (DX4860-H78F) and want to install my GPU from my older system on it, the thing is, with the GPU in the slot the screen wont turn on (even post), the GPU fans are working, CPU fans and case lights are ON, but there is a small beep that i dont hear with the GPU plugged in (the pc seems to give a beep on successful boots such as without GPU)
here is the PC :PC SPECS
GPU: r9 380 2g
The only thing different is that i put a 750w PSU.
Checked list:
*the system has enough power (new 750w psu)
*the gpu is working fine on the previous setup
*all pins are connected and the GPU is sat tightly in the PCIe slot
*did a fresh windows installation, and used a driver wiper to remove any existing
*same results if i try to connect to integrated GPU while the external is plugged in
*pc working fine with the GPU plugged out
*tried all the GPU outputs all had the same result
*pc runs fine with integrated graphics
*there is no option to switch between integrated and GPU in bios (the most limited options bios i have seen in my life its scary)
Please help me solve this issue! thank you
