Hi there.
I know there's probably a thread on this already, but I was just wondering if my situation was different, having a different laptop.
Idling right now with skype, task manager, chrome, email, and sticky notes open my 2.50 GHz processor is running at 3.01 GHz. Should I overclock it? Would my fan be able to handle it?

Solution
Only processor with "k" at its end can be overclocked. For eg. I7 4790k, i5 7600k etc.
Also, this is an underwatted CPU ('u' after 6500 means that) with tdp of only ~35W( dont quote me on this value, i could be 25 or 30 also)
So, mate u cant overclock this cpu.
