Which does my GPU's Memory Clock show sudden drops at times?

I've got a Sapphire Nitro+ 4 GB RX480. While gaming, the memory clock speed shows sudden drops from time to time (not frequent though). What's causing these sudden drops? Could it be the GPU's memory getting full?

Many AAA titles like to eat a 4GB frame buffer for breakfast, so if you're ramping up the settings to Ultra, it might explain sudden clock spikes. However, your card may also be throttling. Monitor the temperatures to make sure its not giving any sort of high temp spikes.
