Hi so during the Christmas season built a pc. I5 6600k msi Radeon rx 470 Asus z170 AR mother board and 2 8gig evga Super SC ddr4 ram. So I couple of weeks ago I was in my bios and it said I know have 8 gigs so this morning I shut down my computer hit the switch on the power supply and took out both sticks and put them back in. I shut my case turned the power back on and turned on my computer. Now my monitor is getting no signal and the MEMOK led is red. I tried most of the combinations and nothing is working and help?

Solution
Check there is no damage or dirt etc on the memory module contacts. Likewise check the memory slots for any damage or dirt etc.

Make sure memory modules are inserted firmly. Check that the video card is also seated properly, and that the CPU is still mounted evenly also; either may have been accidentally bumped.

Clear CMOS. Try system boot again.
