I have recently been having issues with my desktop freezing, I decided today to update Bios. I downloaded the file from Asus ver 2306, extrated it to an empty single partition fat32 usb. I went to BIOS and then to Advance and in Tools I entered the Asis EZ flash. I selected the drive and the file M5A97...cap. It first read and then a loading bar appeared. It took about 2 to 3 mins and when it was done asked and warned to reset the system, I clicked yes and the monitor went to sleep and a Red LED on the motherboard lighted up(No breathing just solid). The cpu fan seems to be at max speed but monitor is at sleep. Is this behavior normal? Can someone tell me before I enter on crisis. ~5min has passed.

MB: M5A97 R.2
CPU: FX-8350
8GIB of RAM
PSU: Corsair 750M

EDIT: I have not powered off the system yet.

Hello Alexoiu, thanks for replying! It has been ~25min and I still haven't powered off the pc, still in the same state, I noticed that the Red LED is the DRAM Check, I think... Also wont powering off the pc brick the motherboard?

Ok I will try, I just power off by pressing the "power button" for a few seconds? Then unplug power cord and remove CMOS battery for a minute, Did I got that right? Thanks.

Ok I have done it, had to remove GPU because the battery was sitting below it. Now I just plug everything back and power on?
