i have an i5 2400 cpu, i was cleaning my pc today and somehow bent the motherboard socket pins so ruined the mobo.

Trying to find a mATX/mITX motherboard, let alone under $100 is proving difficult.

Anyone got any ideas? I tried google, newegg, amazon. Ebay pulls up some stuff, but would like to try and find new if possible.

Thanks!

Solution

H61 chipset will do fine unless using very high end GPU.

seen that, but yeah out of stock.. i suppose i can try to re-allign the pins carefully but more then likely they will break.

i also dont want to mess the cpu up either,

I use PriceWatch to look for older parts in new condition. They have multiple search methods by socket or chipset or brand or whatever.

not entirely sure what is supported, but currently its a gt 710 in thre, would like to possibly go 750ti/1050ti if possible but only need 1920x1080p max for my girls setup. (sims 3 you know lol)

Will do fine with that. anyway the i5 2400 is only PCIe X16 ver2.0 like the board.
