My laptop fell off of my bed earlier onto a hard floor. When I opened it up the laptop booted up and went straight to saying reboot and select proper boot device.
I've tried doing things in BIOS as I've been searching on other threads for answers but I just keep going in circles.

I have a project due this Wednesday for college and I really need this sorted out, please help

1st you should check the laptop to see any damage on the laptop. If there is no any visible damage, then try to remove the boot device ( HDD or SSD), also check the connection too ( like loose the cable or not), and boot the laptop again, if it does the same. That means the boot device has problem. You need other HDD or SSD, then reinstall the OS plus the software.
