Possible cooling issues (i7 4790k with Corsair H60)

Hello, I recently noticed on my i7 4790k (which is cooked by a liquid cooling Corsair H60) is reaching 100c at 100% load.
Around 60-80% load it get to 70-80c
At idle the temp goes from around 36c to 43c.

I feel like these temps are way too hot and was wondering if the version 1 H60 is not powerful enough to cool my i7.

As a comparison for you on my custom loop I idle @ 26c & peak is around 55c!! and thats @ 4.6GHz

I know you said you have not overclocked at all but have you checked your voltage?
May be worth checking and easier than re-applying TIM multiple times.
My Ranger VII board likes to give IMO too much voltage at stock.
But even that shouldnt really account for those temps.

Try redoing your thermal paste on the cpu. The h60 isn't great but that is way to hot. Also do you have dust buildup in the rad?

I know the 4790k has some cooling issues by itself but this is really odd. Is your pump running slow? Any way to check it?
