Anyone know if MicroCenter will upgrade my motherboards BIOS?

Solution
I understand your hesitation to try doing it yourself it can be intimidating. The process has gotten better compared to how it was years ago. If Microcenter will do it probably depends on your local MicroCenter service dept manager. I'm taking it for granted you purchased the motherboard from them not to long ago. I'd go down and see if you can talk to some one in the service dept about doing that for you. They may request you just bring in the motherboard. They may not want to take the risk of turning your motherboard in to a paperweight and refuse.

Long term MicroCenter customer here. Based on my experience with their customer service/tech support, you'd be better off doing it yourself. It's not a hard process. I got a taste of their support ineptitude last year when returning a bad monitor and the rep couldn't even tell the difference between HDMI and Display Port in a plug. I wouldn't want those guys working on my hardware.
