Hi all, you guys have been my go to place for everything, and I'm hoping to lean on you for some advice as my current vid card is basically about to explode. Have had a GTX 660 since 2013 and it's served me well, but there's a whole lot of blinking and crashes and "the card has been physically removed" lately, and I'd like to nip this in the bud.
I'm willing to go a bit lower spec if it allows me to not swap out my PSU, because I am afraid of changing this (and not even sure if I can, as it's integrated)
All the different graphics cards are like greek to me, the same part numbers with $50-$90 differences, I'm not ashamed to admit I'm out of my depth. Physically changing the parts around is no problem, but knowing what I should even get is out of the question.
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: literally tomorrow.
BUDGET RANGE: CAD up to say $350-$400 ish, rebates not important.

A...different 1060? somehow? (this is why I need you fine folks) [/url]
Thank you again for any help, I'm decently computer savvy in a software, troubleshooting, fix relatives computer kinda way, but hardware? no chance.
For the record, on the bottlenecking thread, I'm fairly certain my cpu comes up clean for the 1060, which is what I'd been considering.
