Help finding HDD for long term storage

I know it's a bit of a worn question, but most of the articles I've found are more than a year old, or don't ask my exact question. If you know an article that answers my question, please feel free to link it.

My previous external hard drive failed after only a year an a half, giving very poor performance and often wasn't recognized when I plugged it in. I'm looking for a 3.5" HDD for long term powered storage. In an ideal world I'd be buying a bare 3.5" drive and putting it into my computer's spare cage. Power consumption, speed, and noise aren't really something I care about, but reliability is key. Price isn't exactly super important but I'd *like* to spend less than 150$, and I need a minimum of 2TB.

Any and all help is appreciated,

I'm not going to deny that as a good contender, but I'm not too sure about the long term durability of it.

This looks like exactly what I need, but I'm not sure.
I'm going to leave the post unanswered for a few days, as to allow other suggestions for a little while.

Thanks for the help, man

I decided to go with the WD Red for my NAS, and picked myself a Seagate Firecuda (https://goo.gl/SbsJyd) for my laptop, since it wasn't too much.
