I bought a majority of new components to update my 4 y/o pc. I put everything together, and had no display. Swapped the gpu with a MUCH older model and booted up perfectly first time. I have tried multiple newer model GPU's, and none of them have worked, but everywhere online says they should. I have spent 2 weeks looking around trying to figure this out, so hopefully someone here can help.

Installed:
MSI 970 Gaming motherboard
AMD 6300 cpu
16 GB budget 1.5v ram (1066)
Antec 850w modular power supply
256 gb Primary SSD, 1tb standard secondary

Nvidea quadro 3800 and a GTX 275 GPU both work in the system, but are severly outdated.

I have tried Gigabyte 1050ti, evga gforce 1060, and MSI 1060 armor GPU's, all of which have no display.

With the older cards, it boots right into windows and goes on with no issues, but what is the point of upgrading if Im still using antiquated graphics. I have a old VGA moniter with an adapter im using, but I also tried using a HDMI straight to a spare tv, and still nothing. I have flashed bios, updated bios to m4, reset bios, and still have nothing.

I am extremely frustrated at this point since everything, including MSI tech support, says it should work.

DVI-D to VGA, the moniter is a 24" one from circuit city when they were closing. It hooks up and worked fine on the older cards. The TV is hooked up by HDMI. The tv detects something but doesnt show anything. Theres a few seconds delay, the shows no input.
