So, as the title suggests, I want to upgrade my Pentium G4400 + R7 260x. But I do not know if I should upgrade my CPU first or GPU.

My budget is approx. $202 (10,000 php)

In my country, the items around that price point that I am looking at are:

CPU: i5-6400, i5-6500, i5-7400, i5-7500

Gpu: Gtx 1050 ti, RX 470 4GB, GTX 1060 3GB.

So, which will be a better investment? I am going to game and do some video editing with it. Thank you!

Hmm it's fairly balanced which is quite annoying...

From your list above the i5 7500 + GTX 1060 3GB is the best performing choices. However, it might be worth checking the Ryzen 5 lineup if they are available in your area as they are pretty solid at editing/rendering over the i5 and may be of use to you around the same price range, if not the i5 7500 is a good choice. The GTX 1060 3GB is the strongest GPU on that list but i would see if you can get a RX 480 4GB at that price range (usually hovers around the 1060 3GB price range) and it performs better most the time without also having the slightly concerning lower VRAM count. Hope this helps :)

Sorry if the question is not so clarified, but I can only buy one component :(

Hmm it's fairly balanced which is quite annoying. This is what i would do:

CPU - I would buy an i5 7500 now since you can re-use your Motherboard (update it to latest BIOS first so it supports 7th Gen CPUs and you can re-use your current RAM. This will give better performance in some games especially those that are CPU bound but it will also set you up for just about any GPU you get without bottlenecking. A stronger CPU would also help in your video editing quite a lot.

GPU - Upgrade the CPU first since a G4400 will bottleneck most the ones you are looking at in most modern games. After this save for a GPU since the RX 500 line is coming out soon it should add both tons of RX 470 and 480 on clearance so you might be able to find one really cheap. But the RX 570 and 580 themselves might be a good choice once they are released.
