So im a guy that makes 3D video games level environnement. Rendering said levels are harsh on the CPU (especially the one I use: Source engine). Today, when going away for an easter trip setup and stuff, I let my compiler running with all cores active. The thing is that this rendering process can take multiple hours (more then 3 to 4 hours) and I cant come back home till tomorow, hence the following question:

How much time and what temp can an AMD FX-8320 Octo-Core take before dying? Its overcloxked at 4 GHz, using stock fan and, at night (low temperature inside), underload, it gets and stays around 65 to 70 °C. Im really stressed out and knowing if my processor is going to die or not wiuld help.

Solution
Processors rarely die nowadays, overtemp and overvolt usually result in it throttling down or shutting down before damage is done. Surefire to prevent all of that is good cooling which stock coolers often don't provide even at stock frequencies.
But.... CPUs are not only ones. MBs are also under as much stress and are even more susceptible to damage when overloaded. And again good cooling helps most.
With good cooling and beefy MB my FX 6350 at 4.8GHz very often works all night and day doing same job and no deterioration is observed last 4 years that I have it.
