Can I game on the Nvidia gtx 1050 2GB?

Games that I will be playing BF1, infinite warfare, doom,bo3, titanfall 2, any latest games today at low to med settings. Just to enjoy the story, non-hardcore. Hopefully no lags and stuttering .

Specs from a prebuild pc which im going to buy is a asus g11cd.
I7 7700
8gb ram
Gtx 1050 2gb

It looks like you're paying more for the processor in this case, and getting a little skimped on the graphics card.

I have a previous generations i7 4770k. If all I were doing is gaming I would have went with probably the same processor as maxlge: i5 4790k

I do light animation rendering in Blender 3D, so I needed more threads with a little more cache to get me there.

For smoother gameplay(if you can swing it), I would suggest the 1060. Those games are a bit shader-heavy. If you're not looking to run on Ultr or very high setting, then the 1050 is fine. Keeping in mind that games of the future are also going to demand more, and 1060 certainly isn't future-proof, but it gives you an edge.

you cant just add a gpu and hope for performance

your complete specs must be able to match the gpu
