So I got home today and powered on my PC and launched up diablo 3. To my surprise I was greated with screen artifacts out the wazoo. Now I can't even get it to boot without the artifacts everywhere. I have reseated the card and reinstalled windows 10 (which had no artifacts while installing) am I forgetting any major troubleshooting steps or should I look into a new card?
Parts:
1700x ryzen processor
Titan X Maxwell
Rog crosshair 6 X370
G skill 16gb
Samsung 250gb nvme ssd
Corsair 750 watt psu

Just looking to see what others think I should try. There have literally been no problems with this card/set up until now.

This has happened to a friend of mine recently and it wasnot too hard of a fix. First of all what type of artifacts are they and where in the screen do they appear? It may have been from your game Diablo 3, or you may have to update the drivers because they do not always come updated. Also update your mobo chips drivers. This is not a heat issue because you have an excellent gpu and not a vram issue for the titan x has 12gb. If all else fails talk to your seller about this and you could possibly get a refund for it may just be a mechanical error inside the gpu. It is very likely however that it may have been your game since it only started when you loaded it up. Best of luck ☺

Maybe it has something to do with your processor? I'm not sure what it would be but possibly. I would say the bestvthing to do now is to try it with a different cpu and if that doesn't work then just return it. Sorry for the inconvenience
