Hey peeps. my setup is:
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 AMD 760G (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard
RAM name : ADATA gaming 4gb x 2
Power supply: OCZ ZS series 650W
Cooler: Prolimatech Lynx CPU Cooler
Case: Xigmatek Asgard II Windowed Midi Tower Case
GPU: GTX 950
CPU: AMD FX-4170 Quad-Core Processor
RAM: 8GB

Basically i was told to upgrade from my current CPU to AMD FX 8350 - 4.0GHz Octa Core Socket AM3+ Processor.

I think thats literally the upgrade i need. I will either do this or after a year or so i was thinking of buying a good gaming PC. Right now i run most things at medium/high settings such as Overwatch. Do you think i should just upgrade my CPU and keep the PC for another 2 years or so? =) i don't really want to spend too much in a way.

Cheers :)

The FX-8350 will require you to update the motherboard bios to v1401 before swapping cpu, personally, I suggest spending a few dollar more and get the FX-8370 4.0GHz which also requires a bios update to v1801, and upgrade memory to 16GB. that should help, but your GTX 950 is less powerful than you think; it is slightly less powerful than GTX-1050, something to consider in your planning of your final upgrade, a better GPU should be in your plans

I have decided to go for AMD FX8320. It seems like a big upgrade for my PC not extremely big but still okay. In the future i will probably go to i5 or i7. I mean as a new setup. for now i'll keep this PC for another maximum 2 years, hopefully. I have never changed CPU is it easy enough? =)

Hey man. How about this Motherboard? GIGABYTE H170M-D3H DDR3

I really don't want to buy DDR4 RAM right now as they are quite expensive. I am sure these are good too, right?

Would appreciate a quick reply =)

The g4560 is latest gen (kaby lake) and while it does work with older chipsets (h170, b150) they would need a bios update first. Newer boards like h270 and b250 boards will work with kaby lake cpus out of the box.

As far as i know there are no ddr3 h270 / b250 boards. Besides, the g4560 does benefit from the faster ram, and you would cover most of the cost of the ddr4 by selling your ddr3

I was just playing Overwatch and i get between 60-80 FPS with high settings, which isn't bad right? :)

I found a better deal which is total £150 hehe =D

What did you find?
And yes those fps are good, are you staying above 60fps the whole time? no dips?
