no need for thermal paste. Non-K CPU coolers come pre-applied with it. I would also recommend getting a small SSD to put often used programs and your OS on it.
Everything looks good to me as far as compatability. For what it's worth, PCpartpicker is usually pretty good at determining what is compatible and what will work with each other. It will usually tell you if something may cause an issue. Good luck on your build!
