Thermaltake Riing 120mm RGB fan controller

Solution

Connect it to one of you PWM fan headers on your motherboard, if you have just basic chassis fans connected to it, the connect it to one of the chassis fan headers or system fan header, if you are watercooling and have radiator fans connected to it, then connect it to the CPU fan header, you were a bit vague with you description.

Have a look in the manual, all the fan headers on that board should be pwm (4 pin fan headers) you should have a few of them spread around the board, the CPU fan header being one of them, you'll probably have one to the left of the board, 1 or 2 at the bottom, and 1 or 2 to the top right of the board, they will be labelled cpu_fan, sys fan 1, sys fan 2 etc on the board itself.

I cant post any pictures at the moment as my pc is stress testing and running like crap as all resorces are being used, but having a quick look on google at your board, I can see you have the cpu fan right by the top heatsink, there is also 2 over at the edge of the board by the mem slots, 1 by the main power plug, 1 at the bottom, and one just below the big heatsink, just above the PCI-e x1 slot.
