I have a Fujitsu Lifebook T901 and the motherboard died. I took the HDD and tried it in another similar T901 laptop and it booted fine. I have since purchased a T902 with an SSD and tried to restore (by cloning) the backup from my original HDD to this new machine. Blue screen right after the Starting Windows screen. I then installed the T901 HDD in the T902; same result as above. The 901 and the 902 have different motherboards and different cpu's and other things, but I have moved HDD's in newer desktops in a similar fashion with good results for years. Why won't it work in these two laptops?
