So yesterday i built my first computer. Everything was going fine when building and when I finished I plugged it into my monitor from the GPU with an HDMI cord it started up perfectly and I loaded into the BIOS. It showed that everything connected was working properly so I decided to restart the computer and install Windows 10 from a USB stick.

I booted onto the USB stick and the windows sign popped up, then suddenly the screen went black on my monitor. The computer seemed to still be running fine however. I had to hard restarted the computer and then tried again. This time I got all the way to were it asks what language and version and clicked next. The screen went black again. I hard restarted again because I couldn't see the screen to continue my Windows installation. I turned my computer on and this is when the monitor stopped picking up a signal and remained idle when the computer was turned on. The case fans and CPU fans are working, and the GPU fans spin up for about 2 seconds when the computer is turned on.

I'm not sure what the issue is, whether it is a problem with windows, the USB stick I used, or a component inside the computer. Any help would be appreciated.
