Hi everybody, I will soon sell my laptop, it has a 128 GB m.2 SSD and a 1TB HDD.
I would like to hard wipe them so that data can't be easily restored, and then reinstall windows 10.(I already have a USB stick with its ISO inside). I'm a little lost on what to do and in what order. Any help would be very appreciated.

Solution
Go download Darik's Boot and Nuke and run it. Choose the drives you want to wipe and run it. Here is a link: https://dban.org/ It will take about a day then install windows again

For the SSD...whatever Secure Erase application the manufacturer has. What make/model drive is this?
DBAN for the HDD.

Specifically, from dban.org:
"While DBAN is free to use, there’s no guarantee of data removal. It cannot detect or erase SSDs"

how do I reinstall windows? Will it automatically detect my drive with the windows ISO? is there any further back up I need to do?

You said the ISO of windows was on a USB stick so just unplug the stick. Plug it back in once you are ready to install it again. Back up? I'm assuming you have backed everything up already if you are getting rid of the laptop. You shouldn't need to back up anything from this point.
