Here is the link to my build opinions are appreciated.

Also I know the strix gpu and mobo are a bit over the top but i really like the looks and the rgb so it is something i am willing pay a bit more. i know some may not agree with that but does the rest of the build fit together well? just curious on what others think.

Unless you're serious about overclocking, I'd skip the unlocked CPU and Hyper 212. I would instead buy a faster and larger SSD(some kind of 250gb SATA III or M.2 Samsung). As far as ram goes, you can always add more later but personally I'd feel weird only buying 8gb for a 6600k/Z270/1060 6gb build. In the same way I'd feel weird about buying a cheap 120gb Sandisk SSD for the same build. I believe in balancing a system, that's where my approach is based.

That case will show the lighting, so that part works together well.

Thank you for your input. I had a much lower end build set up but i kept wanting more so i keep putting in more parts that i know i don't need. I don't know a whole lot about overclocking but its more of I want to be able to do it if i decide I want to down the road without having too spend a whole lot more to do it. But i know what you mean thank you.
