I got a Sapphire 7870 XT in 2013, and it has worked perfectly until today. I was just sitting in a game menu when my screen glitched out and turned into a bunch of vertical lines so I turned off my PC. After booting up it seemed fine, though an error popped up for Crimson saying something about wattage. I opened Chrome to look it up and the screen turned into a bunch of blue and black equally spaced vertical lines. I turned it off again, and started in safe mode, to uninstall drivers.

After uninstalling, my PC wouldn't boot with the 7870 installed. The fans kicked on, but it never beeped, and the 7870 fans kinda start then stop or just seem to move slowly. I tried clearing CMOS, and I quadruple checked all the connections. I've never had any issues with the GPU before, but I did replace my PSU two years ago after it died. I don't have another PC to test the card in.

I tried installing the 17.4.1 drivers on the 6th, but I got some weird issues with text on the desktop so I immediately uninstalled and rolled back to 17.3.2. I monitor my temps often, and my GPU stays below 65c while gaming.

I have my old 6670 installed right now and it's working fine. I put a ticket in with Sapphire but I'm not sure if it's still under warranty. Any ideas on what's wrong? Need any more info?
