Can my pc hold and run a 1050ti SSC?

I currently have an Alienware X51 R2 with a GTX 645, i3-4130, and 4gb of ddr3 ram. I am looking to upgrade to a GTX 1050ti SSC and 8gb of ddr3 ram. I have a 180w PSU. With my small budget I can't afford to buy another PSU (the only other one to get is a dell 330w) and I was wondering if the 180w could still hold run a 1050ti SSC, 8gb of ram and i3-4130.

No, don't forget to factor in the mouse, keyboard, any cooling fans, and extra modules of DDR3. Your max load would be closer to 250W, at least if you trust the online calculator.

Even if it was just enough to power the system, it is not recommended to do so, as you would not only be stressing the PSU more but also drawing more wattage due to decreasing efficiency at loads higher than 50% of its rated wattage.

this is an external power supply not internal one ... and I did factor everything ... in those 40 extra watts.

his system will max out at 170 watts MAX !!!

Better question: What is currently in your X51? If you have a card in there and are simply updating, you're fine. The card you want to go to is very miserly on it's power usage. If you have an older card, chances are good it uses the same power for less performance, or more power for...well, you're upgrading so...

and you guys are saying will not work ? his old GTX 645 IS WORKING and it is 130 WATTS !

he even can use beter than GTX 1050 ti in his machine , and it will WORK . GTX 1060 is 120 watts !!!

Please stop giving Generic Desktop advices This machine consumes low power.

645? So it's a rebrand. I agree that his system can use the new card. I know because the the efficiency increase. No matter what he's upgrading from, the new card is more efficient and he selected the bottom model. If the bottom model uses too much power, then he has no options. But it's an Alienware, so I knew it had a card in it. Even if that card was the bottom card, it still uses more power than the one he wants to upgrade to.

BUT! his new card won't fit. Spec says single slot. The card he wants is Dual Slot. He doesn't have the space.
