I have this on going issue where my once silent pc is now making this annoying thumping sound.
It's different then all the other problems im seeing on youtube and I cant find a solution here is what ive done so far.
Changed the Hard drive
Checked all the Fans by Finger stopping them one by one
Checked for loose Wires
Checked for Loose Componenets
Checked for Loose screws
Made sure side panels are correctly slotted
When I open the case It's really hard to tell where the sound is coming from althought I can somewhat tell it comes from the top of my pc near the cpu area. I made this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tBmjwpbsnI (the sound didnt turn out great) but if you listen you can hear the intermittent thumping noise.
If anyone can give me some fresh insight into what could be happening and or how to fix Id be so Happy.
