So I currently have a PC that I built around 4 years ago with budget in mind. In it, there is a AMD A8-6600K APU, 8Gb of DDR3 1866Mhz RAM, F2A55M-HD2 motherboard, and a CX430M power supply. I am planing to buy a dedicated graphics card to add to my system to improve its currently not-so-optimal graphics performance. I use this desktop mostly for productivity and music production and do some gaming on the side. The games I play range from CS:GO to some triple A games such as Battlefield. My budget for the graphics card is max. $150 CAD (I am not planning to upgrade any other components). I am wishing to be able to play some newer games at medium settings 1080p. Right now, I am leaning towards the RX 460 or either the 1050 or 1050 Ti.

I was wondering if these graphics cards would be bottlenecked by the cpu performance of my AMD APU? If so, what other graphics cards would be better for value and better match for my current build?

Grab an RX 470 4GB, it should be around the price of the GTX 1050 Ti but offers 40-50% more Performance. Anything higher would be too much of a bottleneck on that CPU. Even these GPUs will be bottlenecked in some newer games like Battlefield and other AAA titles but games like CS:GO will run fine with this pairing. Hope this helps :)

Thank you! Browsing around some websites and the cheapest RX 470 I could find was around $230 CAD while the 1050 Ti started at $180. For the RX 460, its cheapest price currently is around $130.

However, I did find this RX 360 refurbished at $90. Would this be a good value for price and also meet my requirements since it has reasonably good specs at this price point?

It would be a decent card in the lighter games like CS:GO but i would consider spending more on a stronger card for some more modern games like Battlefield which you would really benefit from a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 470.
