As the title suggests I don't have any display on my computer when I turn it on. i went to turn on my computer like any other day and when I did I got nothing. This happened a month or so ago and I managed to get it back on by trying to reseat everything, clearing CMOS and all the usual things I've found online but one of it is working this time.

I can't seem to find anything on this red light though. It's never on when i can get the pc to work but I can't figure out what is causeing it to be on

Specs-
Mobo: asrock z97 fatality
CPU: intel 4770k
Gpu: gtx 1080
16 GB ddr3 ram

If anyone has any info on this please help.

Solution
Reset BIOS by shorting the 2-pin jumper on your motherboard. Completely disconnect the new PSU and carefully connect it back, making sure all power connectors are plugged correctly. If it still shows a red light, and your old PSU still works, can indicate a problem with the new PSU.

The red light usually indicates there's a hardware fault/problem with your system, as you said whenever your system was working, that light was off.

Check which fault the light indicates from your motherboard manual. (ex. CPU_LED, DRAM_LED, VGA_LED, SATA_LED)
