Hi,

I am building my first gaming rig with "MSI GTX980 TI" graphic card which fits in my budget for best price for fps, Could anyone suggest what build config should be used with this card..

I plan to use this PC for gaming and running some animation creating heavy tools (Autodesk Maya/Aurora)..
I am thinking of purchasing display of 1080p..

Thanks in advance for your help..

Sorry, I think I forgot to view this thread afterwards.
Here's a revised build. One thing (if you noticed) I went with a 650w power supply. Seems power supplies are very expensive in India. And CX 450M and CX550M were both around 16000 but CX650M is cheaper. They all are the same model so don't worry about quality, and this one has more wattage. So this also leaves you plenty of space for future upgrades.
If you find something wrong or want me to change something, let me know.

Hi Tauseef, first of all thanks for your reply..
As you suggested that 980ti will ber overkill for 1080p, plz suggest more compatible build with this GPU..

I live in India and my budget is around 60~70k Rs, I saw 980ti sold on new egg for 25k(link below) and i also saw few benchmark video's for 980 ti which were pretty impressing with 60 fps in most of the games on high resolution..
however if there is any other best build with 60~70k Rs, please suggest

New egg MSI GeForce GTX 980 TI 6GB

Alright then :) Here's a build nicely in the middle of your price range, this should play pretty much every game at 1080p:

Hi , again thanks for complete build with all links in PC part picker..
I have gone through all of the links given and also checked each part on Amazon:

CPU: I5 -7500
Actual current price in India : 16,199 (with Warranty)

Motherboard: Gigabyte]http://www.amazon.in/dp/B01N22TQ3D/?tag=pcp03-21]Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard[/url]
Actual current price in India : 6,827.04 + 461.59 Delivery Charge = 7,288.63 rs (without Warranty)
7,368.98 +150.00 Delivery Charge = 7,518.98 (with Warranty)

Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Actual current price in India : 8,418.97 + 149.01 Delivery Charge = 8,567.98 rs (without Warranty)
Next cheapest seller with Warranty : 15,400.00 rs

SSD Storage: PNY CS1111 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Actual current price in India : 7,299.19 + 174.83 Delivery Charge= 7,474.02 rs (without Warranty)
Next cheapest seller with Warranty : 8,532.00

One question for this, Is SSD really improving the game play i read bunch of stuff saying it just improves the loading time in the games. will it be more efficient to add this money in GPU instead..

HDD Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Actual current price in India : 3,624.00 rs with warranty

Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Mini Video Card
Now here i can see huge difference in price,
Actual current price in India : 17,583.78 + 696.69 Delivery = 18,280.47 rs (without warranty)
Next cheapest seller with Warranty : 21,490.00 rs

Case: Thermaltake Versa H21 ATX Mid Tower Case
Actual current price in India with warranty: 9,427.00 rs

Power Supply: Corsair CXM 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Actual current price in India with warranty: 8,993.00 rs

Total price with cheapest parts : 79,854 Rs.
Total price with warranted parts: 91,184 Rs

I am also checking alternate sellers for these parts with lower prices,

This is my first time building a gaming rig and i am willing to invest more money in the build if needed but i want to build this one time so that i can play new upcoming new games with ease, I have asked you earlier that i want 1080p experience but i don't have any peripherals with me as of now and i can purchase new monitor accordingly..

The price of this rig with warranted parts is around 91k , would it be possible that there a build with MSI GTX980 TI GPU, and with rest of decent parts coming in total 60~80k ..

Also i would really appreciate if u could suggest which monitor would be best in compatible with this GPU

Thanks

Hi Tauseef,

Thanks for the new build , I really liked the processor,GPU, MOBO and PSU.

I wanted to share what i found on Amazon and other sellers for others:

GPU:
Amazon:
Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB AMP! Edition Video Card
Price: 23,650.00 + 150.00 Delivery

New Egg:
Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB AMP! Edition Video Card
Price: Rs.15,829 Delivery charges mentioned below.

RAM:
Amazon:
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Price: 15,849.00 rs

New Egg:
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Price: Rs.7,624

Both the GPU and RAM will be delivered in India with 3,368 Rs extra changes,
With these part build managed to get within 75k rs.

Just have one problem now, with the Case :

Link : Thermaltake Versa H21 ATX Mid Tower Case

price : 9k(with delivery changes) will be avaliable in 2-3 weeks later..

Could u please suggest any other more suitable case with this build..

Hi Tauseef,

I checked the case on new egg , its costing around 7k including delivery to India, which is nearly as costly as Thermaltake Versa H21 ATX Mid Tower Case..

I found out below case on Amazon with free delivery:
Corsair CC-9011050-WW Carbide Series SPEC-01 Steel Red LED Mid-Tower Gaming Case (Black)

It has capability of adding custom fans and includes front fan..

Please let me know if this can fit the ATX MOBO and do I need to purchase and install extra fans .. I am not thinking to make OC with this build..
