I am considering purchasing a USB-based WiFi antenna. Currently my computer is located in the basement of my house. My router, an AC5300 Nighthawk X8 Tri-Band WiFi Router from Netgear, is located on the second floor. I need a WiFi Antenna capable of handling types of games such as Star Wars the Old Republic, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and World of Warcraft. I also need it to be able to handle streaming of movies in 1080p and possibly 4K, and stream music. I am considering two USB WiFi antennas:
