Corsair link with non corsair MB

Does Corsair link work with non Corsair motherboards? Do I simply need to buy an adapter or what? My motherboard is an ASRock Z270 extreme 4 LGA 1151

Yes it works. You need an available USB2.0 internal header in your motherboard. Connection cable should be included with the Corsair product.

Corsair doesn't make motherboards, just peripherals. It will work on that board so long as you have the correct header for it.
