Nvidia Experience auto-updates *always* fail.

Lately pretty much every time Nvidia Geforce Experience autoupdates, the installer fails.

If I go to the Nvidia website, download the latest version myself and manually install, it works no problem, don't even need to wipe the old installations. But whenever Nvidia seems to auto-update, I will click the Geforce Experience icon, it will open an installer, and the installer will fail.

Is it a diskspace issue? my SSD has 8.25GB of free space, I can't really free up more space unless I start getting desperate.

This might not be an issue if Nvidia only updated once a month, but they seem to push out an update twice a damn week, and every time it requires an update my Shadowplay ceases to function. This is getting tiresome.

Solution
I would really free up some disc space if you can, it needs some for a swap file and such. I would try and give yourself like 15-20gbs of usable space. I know its tough but pick up one of thumb drive and move some things to it for the time being. The disk could be the cause but if you can update straight from Nvidia I wouldn't worry about it. GPU drivers and software get buggy sometimes that's no doubt.
personally i just ignore most of the update and instead only updating my drivers when i feel i want to. why your shadowplay refuse to work unless you get the latest updates? maybe there is something going wrong with your GFE installation. try installing GFE using the stand alone version instead one that packaged inside driver suite.
