Would this laptop be able to run the latest games on ultra settings with no lag?

I've come across this laptop I'd like to buy:
HP 15-ba079dx (Touch)
AMD A10-9600P (7th Gen) / 2.40GHz Quad-Core Processor
AMD Radeon R5 Graphics - 5GB
15.6" diagonal HD SVA LED Touch Screen Display
10GB RAM (DDR4)
1TB Hard Disk

I've heard Radeon R5 series is not good for gaming. But the seller claims this laptop is perfect to run the latest games. Also he says the processor has the same performance that of intel core i7 ones. Is it true? It's tempting to buy this as it's got 5gb graphics memory and fits my budget, but I don't wanna regret later if games would not run as smoothly as I'd want. Can someone advise me on this? Thanks!

Not even close to running games at ultra, maybe medium, and not all games will be smooth at that...

Not even close to running games at ultra, maybe medium, and not all games will be smooth at that setting even. The A10 CPU is maybe as fast as an i3, not close to an i7. Even the i3 will be faster in most cases.

Looks like that laptop is about $400, do not look for a gaming laptop in that price unless you get a used one. For a used system, look for one with a i5 HQ CPU model and a 960m video card. That is OK for Medium settings in many new games games.
