After playing for a while the game alt+tabs and after a few seconds the pc freezes. The thing is that when i run prime95 and furmark together there is no such problem it doesnt freeze.

Solution

Seems like a dead video card which very likely means you need to replace the motherboard.
Need full system specs and details about the issue, when the issue started, did anything get added/removed before the issue started, etc... Are you saying the issue happens when you try to alt-tab out of the game or does it do that automatically? So no overheating it looks like since you can run the stress tests. Did you try doing a system restore to a point before the issue started?

Acer Aspire 5750g
intel core i5 2410m
nvidia gt 540m 2gb
4gb of ram
samsung 750evo 250gb ssd (replaced a 750gb toshiba hdd that failed);
I have tried reinstalling the OS it didn't help.
Before when the issue occured it showed a nvidia kernel driver problem. I decided to send it for repairs and when i went to get it back the touchpad wasn't working and the laptop screen was flashing white. On a external display, however it displays correctly. Now when the issue occurs there is no messege the game alt+tabs automatically and the computer freezes sometimes immediately others after a about a minute. I have tried replacing the RAM it didnt help. I'm thinking there might be something wrong with the motherboard.

Send the laptop back to the place that repaired it, seems like it was not fixed. With the touchpad not working and the screen flashing sounds like they did not connect the cables properly. If you tried a clean Windows setup already then the issue points to something with the hardware.

I know it wasn't fixed, they told me so and also said that to find the issue they will need more than two weeks which didnt suit me and what is more the problem with the display and trackpad appeared after i gave it to them and they wouldnt admit it.
Needless to say i wouldn't send it back so that they can make the situation worse if it's posible anyway.
I personally checked the cables, they were connected properly and i also checked if they were faulty - they weren't.
