Good Afternoon,

Since a couple of days ago whenever i game my CPU starts overheating after a little while.
In the past whenever i was gaming my fans would start speeding up to keep the CPU cool but now they just keep the same low speed even when gaming and after like 5-10 minutes my CPU starts throttling every 10 seconds.
I tried going in my UEFI setup and change some settings around but nothing seems to work.
Anyone who knows how to fix this?

Specs:

Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
AMD FX-8350
Vishera 32nm Technology
RAM
16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz
Motherboard
ASRock 970M Pro3 (CPUSocket)
Graphics
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 TI

Greetings,
TLock

Go into bios and thermal managment. The asrock extreme boards tend to lock the the fan on a stuck setting. Try turning them all to auto this should fix it. Also what cooler are you using?

The problem is the warranty on the CPU and i had my pc cleaned of dust only a couple of months ago.
But i was playing right now and my fans started speeding up and i was able to play without any problem until i suddenly got a blue screen with this error:
CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

Sometimes it just starts working out of nowhere, i was playing Battlegrounds with the fps dropping every 10 seconds and then suddenly my fans start speeding up and the problem seems solved.
Now is the question how can i make this happen at the beginning of my gaming session?

PS:probably need to apply some new thermal paste since it hasn't been changed at all and it might have been a quite cheap one.
