Which graphic card is better all performance both in gaming and 3d modeling? RX 460 4gb or R9 280x 3gb

The only reason you should pick the 460 is if you need freesync, the 280x does not support it.
280x is still better than 460 though its old. Make sure you get the used one and you have sufficient PSU to power 280x. If you want new go for RX 470.

is this kind of psu can power 280x? SeaSonic M12 SS-600HM. it comes with 6pin and 8pin for pcie. By the way may 280x is gigabyte windforce.
last question sir, is 280x runs hot when gaming or when in load? here in the philippines, the temperature sometimes is 36c and the ambient temp more or less 40c if summer season. do you still recommend 280x? how can i prevent it to throttle because of overheating?
