Apparently there's a compatibility issue between the CRYORIG H5 Ultimate 76.0 CFM CPU Cooler and Asus PRIME X370-PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard. Will the AMD RYZEN 7 1800X 3.6GHz 8-Core Processor take care of that or do I need to get an adaptor?
If I do where can I get one?

Solution

CRYORIG will provide you with an adaptor, you need to contact their customer support.

Only the ASUS Crosshair VI Hero can accept both AM3+ and AM4 coolers. all others need the adaptor.

i dont get what your question is. there is a problem with your cooler and motherboard and your asking if you will need an adapter for your CPU.
if the cooler supports AM4 boards (check the spec page) and is high enghough to clear your ram modules then your all good. and there is no such thing as an CPU adapter

Most coolers support AM4 boards but don't have the correct AM4 backplate in the box. Until they are out in the market the manufacturers are sending them out for free. Theres just too much stock out there to recall all coolers to provide the correct plate in the box.

he is likely getting his idea as per pcpartpicker which allows you to select them but gives you this note:

The CRYORIG H5 Universal 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Asus PRIME X370-PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard.

AM4 being brand new this is a common issue.
