Low fps in Rust on good pc about 30mins after playing

Hello, so I was having this problem with rust and I wanted to see if it was on my end or on rusts end, so I launch the game on max graphics and get about 100fps and its good for about 30mins until it starts dropping and goes to around 55-70fps and stays there, I havent changed any settings but it does it everytime, I've tried lowering all my settings but it does the same thing. Any advice on how to fix? thanks in advance!

Specs:
GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 FTW
CPU: i7 6700k 4.0ghz
RAM: 16gb gskillz 2400mhz
MOBO: msi z170a gaming 5
PSU: EVGA supernova 850w

What are your temps like after about 30 minutes of gaming? Sounds like somethings throttling.

Also look at Task Manager while still in-game and see if the game is maxing out your CPU or RAM

I know Rust has a bad issue with Memory Leaks. Check your RAM usage over a gameplay session.

Do you have an SSD? Are those usage percents when you first start playing or when the FPS drops? I'd reccomend monitoring your CPU and GPU temperatures. Perhaps it's overheating?

it says its using about 7.5gb used while im playing, and ive been playing for about 2 hours

As soon as I launch the game my cpu and memory goes up to 40% even when I have good fps, and yes I do have an SSD, any good programs I can use to monitor my temps?

also my motherboard has a temp LED on it, and it usually stays around 40c while gaming and about 20ish while idle, if thats okay

HWinfo
or msi afterburner's overlay if you want to see it in game.(unless you have 2 monitors then just use HWinfo)

Try some other demanding games.
I suspect it's just Rust being Rust

I tried changing servers and I got better fps, so i think it was the server and rust thanks for all the help guys
