I recently upgraded my RAM from two 4gb sticks to four 8gb sticks. I checked online before I selected my RAM to make sure it was compatible with my MoBo.

Since I put the new RAM in, the system won't truly boot. I get "No Signal" on the monitor. I came here and read through similar problems and tried their solutions (use old RAM, use different slots, reset CMOS, reseating components) but nothing seems to be working.

System specs
MoBo - Asus P8Z68-V / Gen 3
Memory - 4x Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb DDR3 1866
Video card - Radeon HD 6970 2gb DDR5
CPU - Intel core i5 3570K

Solution
The CPU may have been accidentally bumped in the process of swapping memory(?)

Check that the CPU is mounted properly and evenly. And also check that all cables/wires that have to be connected are connected properly.

Clear CMOS again. Try ONE of new memory modules first. If successful boot and running, then install additional new modules.

If still have problems, raise DRAM Voltage by 0.05 V, and don't exceed 1.65 V.

Solution
When starting the computer, boot into BIOS by pressing down the Delete key on the keyboard.

Once in BIOS, select Exit and Advanced Mode.

Select AI Tweaker.

Scroll down and select DRAM Voltage Auto field.

Present DRAM voltage should be shown in the field.

Increase the DRAM Voltage in the field by 0.05 V. Don't exceed 1.65 V.

Press F10 key on keyboard to save new settings.

Press ESC key on keyboard to exit, and then exit BIOS.

Computer should then reboot with new DRAM voltage setting.

Turns out that two of the sticks were DoA and the CMOS needed cleared again too. Sending the dead sticks back and running on 24GB RAM until then.

Thanks for all the help!
