I currently have the store-bought prebuilt asus m15bc and my motherboard has 4 available RAM slots. I only have a single 8gb stick and want to get an upgrade to 16 gb by buying a set of 2 ram sticks that come together in a purchase to improve compatibility. Currently, I'd want to go with the kingston hyper x fury because its cheap, from a reputable brand, and i heard it's more "plug in and play" than other ram sticks, because my computer bios is pretty shitty.
My system specs are
amd fx-8300
8gb ram
480 watt power supply
gtx 1060 6gb (replacement for gtx 650 1 gb that came originally)
I currently have a hard time playing certain games because i run out of ram even after closing all applications and doing ccleaner etc. Your thoughts?
