hi there! i recently purchased an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, but am still getting somewhat low FPS and frame drops. i hope i'm using the right terms. to explain more: the game sometimes lags, stutters, and when i run bandicam, the FPS at the top ranges from ~30-50.
the game i am playing (at the moment) is Mass Effect: Andromeda. some of the settings are on Ultra, but to my understanding, this video card should be more than enough to support that, correct?
with some reading, i've been wondering if it's maybe a motherboard/processor (CPU?) combination, or my RAM.
my motherboard is an ASRock Z77 Pro3 and has an Intel i7-3770 processor at 3.40GHz. if i needed to upgrade the processor, i would also (unfortunately) have to update my motherboard, so i'm hoping that's not it. i'm not ready to spend more money yet, haha.
my RAM is currently at 8GBs but would be easier to add on more.
if more specs are needed, i would happily give them. thanks!
EDIT: should probably also add that sometimes my game just outright freezes during battles and cutscenes, at least for a couple of seconds...
