Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: Q2 2017

Budget Range: $1200-$1600 for DESKTOP ONLY

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Playing games at ultra high quality, needs to be able to 6 monitors

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: cheapest available

Location: Atlanta, GA.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Yes, I need to be able to play UHD games on at least 2 monitors, and the other 4 for viewing/streaming purposes

Your Monitor Resolution: best possible

Additional Comments: I need a gaming build thats capable of handling gaming, can run 6 monitors, and live stream to Twitch with no lag or issues

I want to start gaming seriously and be able to stream, while running 6 monitors.

Solution
That 1050 included in that build I threw together will handle only 3 displays. 1 each of HDMI, DLDVI, and DP. Not sure what connections your displays need. While more expensive, 900 series Nvidia cards have more connections. I just looked at a 950 and it has 4 display connections.

A six monitor set up will probably put your budget above 1200-1600. If you are unwilling to budge on budget, you should expect to curb your expectations. Especially with "best possible" for monitor resolution. If you could specify resolutions or refresh rates need for these monitors that might help me or other more privy aid you better.

Your budget will require some exotic solutions, like mismatching a pair of graphics cards(say a 1050 and 1080ti, or something such). For the resolutions you mentioned on your gaming monitors, you'll need a pretty beefy card for that alone, at least a 1080, and I'm not sure SLI is such a great solution for the DX12 era. Me thinks you're going to have to make some difficult choices.

as the thread stated, the budget is for the desktop build ONLY. I have a separate budget for monitors and other peripherals

ok TBH the game im trying to stream hardcore is Hearthstone, and yes i know it actually doesnt require a beefy GPU at all, but I want a GPU thats capable of handling something much better if it ever comes down to it. I agree in using mismatched video cards, I need 1 thats good to handle games and another thats not-so-good for non-gaming related purposes (keeping track of twitch screens, other internet-related things that doesnt require a beefy ass video card). How many monitors can i connect to 1 GPU? keep in mind i need to have a setup for 6 monitors

You misunderstand i believe. Knowing what monitors you plan on using help others to suggest components that will be best. I'm not referring at all to having monitors in your stated budget. I am merely trying to get more information from you so that I or other may help you better. Having to run 6 1080p monitors is very different from 6 1440p monitors, for example.

My apologies,

The setup I have in mind is probably 5 1080p monitors and 1 tv. I now realize that I probably do have to increase my budget, so with that being said, my new budget is probably be around $1500-$1800

I believe running 6 monitors is going to be difficult. I'm fairly certain a R9 295x2 would have the ports necessary to run 6 monitors at once via eyefinity. However, it's an older card and may be harder to get your hands on. You may have to spring for a 3 or 4 monitor setup, or end up running with a 2 rig setup. Unless someone out there has more suggestions.
