I have an Intel Xeon W3550 with 12 GB of RAM and a GTX 1050 2GB. Should I upgrade my CPU or GPU? I am looking at putting in a GTX 1060 3GB as reviews say it is way better than a 1050, but I also do not want to have a bad bottle neck with my CPU. I do realize upgrading my CPU will require a new motherboard. My PSU is 550 watts so I am not too worried there. I play games like Battlefield 1, GTA V.

Solution
Battlefield1 multiplayer likes as many cores as possible, while GTA5 also runs best with at least 8 threads. If you are OK with 1080p resolution and mid-high settings for now- CPU upgrade to R5 1600 would be the best choice. Just graphic card upgrade would make it possible to use highest settings and even higher resolution, but would not bring higher or more stable fps, thus probably is not the best upgrade option.
