Not entirely sure what's causing this but I have some clues.

My ethernet cable keeps disconnecting me from the internet and I think it has to do with my CPU overheating. It has a really loud fan and all of a sudden the fan goes from 100% speed to 40% and my internet is cut off. Ethernet cable works fine, tried it with different computers but just wanted to confirm if CPU overheating has anything to do with it.

Can anyone confirm with an explanation?

Solution
If you are getting a disconnect message from the system task bar, this signals a network layer-1 issue, bad cable or dirty RJ45.

If the message is coming from browser then indeed something else is wrong and boy best of luck.

If u suspect temp issue, better run a temp monitor eh.
